Effective 15 August 2026
Terms of Service
The terms that cover this site and the forms on it. Representation is a separate agreement, signed, and nothing here replaces it.
What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of ascante.com, the application forms on it, and the staff portal. They are between you and Ascante. Using the site means you accept them.
They do not govern representation. If we take you on, a separate written agreement covers the work, the terms, the money and how either side ends it. Where that agreement and these terms disagree, that agreement wins.
Who may use this site
You must be 18 or older. This is an adult industry and we do not make exceptions. By using the site you confirm you are an adult and that you have the legal capacity to agree to this.
You must not use the site if we have previously ended your access, or where the law where you are would make your use of it unlawful.
Applying
The application forms are an invitation to talk, not an offer of anything. Sending one does not create a contract, does not put you on the roster, and does not oblige us to take you on. We decide who we represent, and we are not required to explain a decision.
- There is no fee to apply, and there never will be one.
- You will get an answer either way.
- We can close applications, change the questions, or decline anyone, at any time.
What you send us is read by a person and held in confidence under our Privacy Policy.
What you tell us
Everything you put in an application must be true, and must be yours to give. Do not submit another person's details, another person's photographs, or work samples you did not write. Do not send identity documents, banking details or content through these forms; we do not ask for them, and if you send them anyway we will delete them.
If we find that an application was false in a material way, we can decline it, and we can end an agreement that was signed on the strength of it.
Figures on this site
Every figure published on ascante.com is a record of work already done, drawn from our own accounts for the stated period, which is the twelve months to August 2026. Each figure names its window on the page it appears on.
A record is not a forecast. Nothing on this site is a promise, a projection or a guarantee of what you would earn. Results are not typical, they are not transferable between accounts, and they depend on factors neither of us controls. If anyone at Ascante tells you what you will earn, that statement is not authorised and does not bind us.
What you own, and what you let us do with it
Everything you send us stays yours. Your work samples, your photographs, your links and your answers remain your property.
You give us a limited licence to store, review, and share internally what you send, for the sole purpose of assessing your application and, if it succeeds, doing the work. That licence is not exclusive, it is not transferable, it earns us nothing on its own, and it ends when we delete the material. We will not publish anything you send us, or use it in marketing, without asking you first.
What we own
The site, its text, its design, its typography and the Ascante name are ours. You may read the site and quote it fairly. You may not copy it wholesale, reuse the design, or present any part of it as your own.
Acceptable use
While using the site, do not:
- Submit applications in bulk, automatically, or under a name that is not yours.
- Scrape, crawl or harvest the site beyond ordinary search indexing.
- Probe, disrupt or overload the site or the systems behind it.
- Try to reach any account, data or area that is not yours, including the staff portal.
- Use the site to send anything unlawful, threatening, or involving anyone under 18.
We can block access, remove submissions, and report unlawful behaviour to the authorities.
Staff accounts
The portal behind staff sign-in is for authorised people only. Your account is personal to you. Keep your password to yourself, tell us at once if you think someone else has it, and expect that what your account does in the portal is logged.
We can suspend or close a staff account at any time, and we will when someone leaves or when an account looks compromised.
The site is provided as it is
We keep the site running and accurate as best we can, but we provide it as it is and as available. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error free, or free of anything harmful, and we disclaim all implied warranties to the fullest extent the law allows, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Links to other sites are for convenience. We do not control them and we are not responsible for what is on them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Ascante is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or lost opportunity, arising out of your use of this site.
Our total liability arising out of the site and these terms is limited to one hundred US dollars, since the site is provided to you free of charge. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Where you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Indemnity
If your use of the site, or something you submitted through it, causes a third party claim against us, you agree to cover our reasonable losses and legal costs in defending it. This does not apply where the claim arises from our own act or omission.
Ending access
We can suspend or end your access to the site at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these terms or if we reasonably think you are about to. Articles VI, VII, X, XI, XII and XIV survive.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware and the federal law of the United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts sitting in Delaware have exclusive jurisdiction, and both sides submit to them.
If you are a consumer resident in the UK or the EU, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory law of your own country, or of the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
Before filing anything, write to us. Most of what ends up in front of a court could have been settled by one email.
Changes
We can change these terms. The effective date at the top changes when we do, and the version on this page is the one that applies from then. If you keep using the site after a change, you accept it.
The rest
If a clause here is held unenforceable, the rest stands. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given up the right to enforce it later. You may not transfer your rights under these terms; we may transfer ours if the business is sold, and your rights are unaffected by that.
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us about the site. Notices to us go to hello@ascante.com, and notices to you go to the address you gave us.
